Visited Bogart's on the boulevard, friendly staff, and the lady named Rosalynn introduced herself as owner/cook/bartender/all around girl.  We ordered the Blue Cheese burger at p195.  When i asked the weight of the burger, Rosalynn explained that she didn't know. She measured by hand till the paddy looked correct.   :) a good thing ! However, I think she should have removed it from the grill a little sooner. Paddy was a little over done. The presentation was a burger on a plate. :( .  The buns, I was told are from Why Not, down the street. A German style heavy bread, suited more for a loaf then a burger. Just not right for my taste.

The Burger came with, Lettuce, tomato, cucumber. The sauce was different, a Thousand Island dressing with Blue cheese sprinkled on it.  No condiments came with the burger.  This seems to be a normalcy in Dumaguete. It would be a pleasant surprise to get mustard, ketchup, salt, pepper, pickle or even hot sauce. Let the customer embellish to his tastes.

Pleasant atmosphere, all Foreigner customers, friendly staff.

The reviewer is going to give the burger 3 buns out of 5, based on that it was a fresh hand made paddy that is similar to Gabby's and had an interesting sauce.....other then that, it needs work to be a champion.

K.R.I  restaurant lists this as a Truffle, Bluecheese, Bacon Burger. 150 grams of pure 100% St, Harris Ranch U.S. Beef.....served with a very Hot house salsa and banana chips. priced at 240.  The burger  is a frozen paddy.  shipped from ...somewhere to Dumaguete.  The cooks were able to cook it, Med rare, Med, med done and well done.  Some what tasty, it didn't really have that grilled flavor to it.  It did come in a homemade sesame seed bun.  The banana chips were an interesting side, until you notice that bags of them are for sale every where in the restaurant.  Home made potato chips would have been a better compliment.

If you are going to make a hamburger, ya need to get your hands around the paddy. It's the magic in the hands that make or break a good burger. A burger that is shipped a million miles frozen after being process in a factory. Lacks the love and magic that goes into making a hamburger. Gabby's Bistro burger tried.

The burger came with lettuce and tomato. No condiments of any kind.  I didn't see a truffle and the blue cheese was about as hard to find. In the picture, if you look closely under the bacon, you can see a smudge of sauce.   Blue cheese burgers should ooze sauce, so that you can lick your fingers.  (Aqua-Landia resort's Monster Burger is one restaurant that knows how to serve blue cheese.)  Two thin slices of caramelized onions did little to help. Overall, the reviewer gave K.R.I.'s burger a 2 1/2 bun out of 5 score.
